This time of the year always has me in a great mood. I’m over the anticlimactic depression of post-Christmas, yet I’m still riding the optimistic attitude wave of the new year….and even better, my second-favorite holiday is just a week away!!! Valentine’s Day means something different for me and my husband now that we have four children. (No it doesn’t.) I can’t remember the last time we “celebrated” the holiday and it’s just as well. (No, it’s not.) We like making it a big deal for our kids anyway. (Don’t believe that last statement.)
Okay, so maybe I would like to do something this year for Valentine’s Day. A nice dinner perhaps? It doesn’t even have to be on the day of. Just an opportunity to get all gussied up in pink and red hearts, stilettos, and some baubles? I’ll keep dreaming…
But if YOU are so lucky to be going out this Valentine’s Day, do you know what you’re wearing? No, you say? Well, it just so happens that I gathered some ideas for ya’!. Even if you don’t usually lean towards girly attire, “Valentine’s chic” is always in style for February. Besides, monochromatic outfits are totally on trend!

When dressing up for your hot Valentine’s date, do you opt for the “sexy” or “cute” look? I guess that’s more of a strategic matter, huh? (wink, wink)
